Algorand reaches quantum-resilient status with Falcon-secured State Proofs and over 1.5 million post-quantum transactions on mainnet

Algorand has become the first major Layer 1 to secure its chain history with Falcon-secured State Proofs, making it the first major L1 to protect its chain history against quantum attacks. Work on this capability has been in progress since 2022.
Alongside Falcon-secured State Proofs, the network now executes post-quantum transactions on mainnet and supports native Falcon-1024 accounts, with over 1.5 million post-quantum-signed transactions processed to date. The network aims to be fully quantum-resilient in 2027.
