The Algorand Foundation released AlgoKit CLI v2.11.0-beta.1, which decouples the command-line tool from the algosdk library. Two new modules, algokit-algod-client and algokit-transact, replace the previous algosdk functionalities, and algokit-utils is upgraded to version 5.0.0a1.
The change was merged as PR #705 and published as a beta release. The decoupling reduces the dependency footprint of the CLI by replacing a single bundled library with focused, purpose-specific modules.
