The Algorand Foundation moved the AlgoKit CLI documentation from static GitHub markdown files to a dedicated site built with the Astro Starlight framework, hosted on GitHub Pages. The migration includes a new sidebar navigation system, a home page, and a build script that automates generation of CLI reference pages. The documentation was published as a pre-release on 13 March 2026.
The underlying change was merged as PR #711 on 11 March 2026, and the pre-release documentation build went live two days later.
