GP9 draft proposes 650,000 Algo for NFT rewards within a 30 million Algo Q1 2024 budget

The Algorand Foundation drafted governance proposal GP9 for the first quarter of 2024, proposing to continue the NFT Rewards Program with a 650,000 Algo allocation. This represents a 150,000 Algo increase over the fourth-quarter 2023 deployment, bringing that portion from 500,000 to 650,000 Algo. The NFT allocation sits within a broader 30 million Algo reward budget covering regular governance participation, DeFi rewards, and the NFT Rewards Program.

The draft asked the community to provide feedback on how funds should be divided among those three reward categories before finalizing the measures.
