The Debt Algorand Standard Application (D-ASA) placed 2nd in the global ACTUS Competition 2026. D-ASA implements the ACTUS financial contract standard as machine-readable, executable tokenized debt instruments on the Algorand Virtual Machine, covering bonds, loans, mortgages and term deposits as deterministic promises with defined amounts, dates, parties and conventions.
The application consolidates bond terms, registry entries, and payment records from ACTUS debt contracts into a single on-chain representation, eliminating the need for multiple parties to maintain separate copies of the same information.
