Algorand 3.10.0 adds semicolon parsing to the VM and GetBlockHash to the Algod REST API

Algorand version 3.10.0 went live on TestNet and MainNet on October 5, 2022. The release adds semicolon parsing to the Algorand Virtual Machine, a GetBlockHash endpoint to the Algod REST API, and fixes for stateproof logging and ledger synchronization. It is a software and developer-tools update rather than a protocol upgrade.

The semicolon parsing change applies to the AVM, the environment where smart contracts execute. GetBlockHash lets a caller retrieve a block hash directly through the REST API, which previously required other means of lookup.
