FUNC v5 adds automatic Valar Daemon support for Algorand node runners
Covered by 3 sources
FUNC v5, the node-running utility for Algorand, now automatically launches Valar Daemon on startup. This means node runners using FUNC can advertise their nodes to ALGO stakers through Valar without running a separate process.
The same update window saw Valar UI v0.4.2 deployed, which brought updated node runner documentation and a fix for an xGov integration edge case. The fix corrects representation status for users who either lost their xGov status or changed their representation setting, a case where the previous version did not update the field correctly.
