Neon Forge launches PQ Attest, anchoring 16 blockchains to Algorand using Falcon-1024 post-quantum accounts

Covered by 2 sources

Neon Forge Ltd launched PQ Attest in September 2026, a cross-chain receipt-anchoring service that stamps confirmed transactions from 16 blockchains onto Algorand as single transactions using native Falcon-1024 post-quantum accounts. Each stamp costs $0.001 USDC, and verification is free. Falcon-1024 accounts have been available on Algorand MainNet since August 2026.

The service covers Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana and 13 other chains. It uses the x402 protocol for pay-per-request and exposes an MCP endpoint for AI-agent integration. Neon Forge developed the tool through CompX, an established Algorand DeFi developer. The project is independent and not endorsed by the Algorand Foundation.

Falcon-1024 live on Algorand MainNet since v5.0.0, post-quantum VRF candidate under analysis with paper due early 2027

The Algorand Foundation published a technical thread covering the status of its post-quantum work. Native PQ accounts are already live on MainNet. The current VRF, which handles committee selection in Pure Proof-of-Stake consensus, relies on elliptic-curve cryptography and is the next target. A post-quantum VRF candidate construction is under security and efficiency analysis, with a research paper expected in early 2027. After that, consensus signatures remain as the final piece of the post-quantum roadmap.
