Algorand Indexer versions 2.6 and 2.7 deprecated in favor of 2.8.x
The Algorand Indexer's 2.6 and 2.7 release lines are being deprecated in favor of the 2.8.x series. The 2.8.x line is required for compatibility with an upcoming consensus protocol upgrade, and databases built on 2.8.0 or later remain compatible with each other within that series.
Moving to 2.8.x requires a full rebuild of the indexer database. The Foundation's announcement put the rebuild time at more than a week on most hardware for mainnet. No new indexer releases beyond 2.8.x will support databases built on any version older than 2.8.0.
