Coinify added Algorand support to its payment gateway on 20 November 2025, enabling consumers to pay with USDC and merchants to receive USDC settlements on the Algorand blockchain.
The Algorand Foundation's post noted that merchants can receive settlements in USDC even when customers pay with other supported cryptocurrencies, meaning the integration standardises the settlement currency on the merchant side regardless of the currency a buyer chooses at checkout.
